Introduction

AnyShot ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the AnyShot Chrome extension and related sharing experience.

What Data We Collect

AnyShot may collect the following categories of data:

  • Screenshots that you explicitly choose to upload and share.
  • Share metadata such as short link code, creation date, expiry date, and access count.

How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to operate and improve AnyShot, including to:

AnyShot does not store the original webpage URL of the page you captured.

  • Store and serve shared screenshots.
  • Measure shared link usage to improve reliability and abuse prevention.

Data Retention

Shared screenshots are automatically deleted from our servers after 15 days. You can also manually delete your screenshots earlier from the editor.

Third-Party Services

AnyShot relies on the following third-party services:

  • Firebase (Google) for cloud storage and database services used for hosted sharing.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with service providers needed to operate the product or when required by law.

Data Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request:

  • Access to your personal data.
  • Correction of inaccurate information.
  • Deletion of screenshots and account-related information.
  • Objection to certain processing activities.
  • Portability of your data to another service.

Children's Privacy

AnyShot is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Google API Data

AnyShot does not currently offer an active Google sign-in flow in this launch. If Google API-based account features are introduced later, AnyShot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
